If your network uses a proxy server, it could complicate the setup of ServiceCapture, but it does NOT make it impossible.

By default ServiceCapture tries to auto-detect the presence of a proxy server. If you have manually configured a proxy server, ServiceCapture should have no problem detecting it and setting up what is known as a "Proxy Chain" between itself and that server. ServiceCapture is currently unable to detect proxy servers if they are configured using an "Automatic Configuration Script" or PAC files. In this case you need to change some configuration in ServiceCapture, for more details see Configuring ServiceCapture with PAC files

When I try to run serviceCapture I receive a prompt to enter proxy information.
However when I try to enter the proxy URL, I am restricted to 15 characters. If I hit cancel the program won't load so I am blocked right now :((

Regards,

Philippe

Yes this is a known issues with the third party software that I use for activation. You need to use the ip address of the proxy server to get around the string size limitation.
