Yes. The 2.0 version of ServiceCapture includes a Firefox add-on that automatically configures Firefox as you start and stop ServiceCapture. To install the Firefox add-o:
- Open ServiceCapture
- Click on "Tools"->"Settings" then the "Proxy" tab
- Click the "Install Now" button next to the Mozilla configuration option
Thats it,
your done. ServiceCapture should now work with Firefox seemlessly.
You can also still use the 1.0 method of pointing Firefox at a to a file that ServiceCapture modifies as it opens and closes. This way you only need to make this
change once, after install, and each time you open Firefox it will then dynamically use ServiceCapture.
To configure Firefox:
- Go to Tools->Settings in the menu bar
- Click on "Connection Settings"
- Select the "Automatic proxy configuration URL" radio button
- Enter: "file:///C://Program%20Files/ServiceCapture/firefox.js"
- Click "reload" or open a new Firefox window
The drawback to this second method is that you will need to close and restart Firefox each time that you close or open ServiceCapture.
If you have ServiceCapture 2 and have issues using the Firefox add on installation included in the application you can also download the add on from here:
